It was 1am.
I’m sitting there staring at another practice test, books spread across the table I paid $80 for. Courses I bought. Videos I’ve watched three times. Apps I’m paying monthly for. And I still can’t tell you — honestly — if I’m ready. Not really. Not for real.

You’ve been working all day. Your kids needed you tonight. You missed something again — dinner, a game, a phone call you said you’d make. I found out the hard way.
